“I'm home love!” Undertaker sang as he walked into the kitchen. “you late.” she snapped while she continued steering the food on the stove.  Today was the last day of (y/n)'s parents visit. She had promised she would make them dinner before there leaving. Even though undertaker never said it, he was honestly relived that they were leaving soon. The whole visit they he felt pressured being around his new in laws, and was rather happy that pretty soon (y/n) and him could get back to there normal life style.

“I'm sorry. The young earl needed more information on the latest death..” he said as she snaked his hands around her waste. “Not now.” she said pushing his hands away. She was not pleased that he was late, especially since the whole point of doing this was to get the blessing of (y/n) family.

“go ahead and sit down. Dinner will be ready soon.” she focused back on the pot. Undertaker made his way to the dining room, dreading every moment of the short walk. (y/n) had got everyone settled down and dinner had started.

~time skip~

Every now and then the two tried to make the situation less awkward,by creating conversation. “so Undertaker we noticed you were late for dinner, is there any reason why?” (m/n) asked. “w-well the young Earl Phantomhive need to  discuss  business. So I had to go.”  “does this happen often?” she asked.  “well not all the time, but we both come to terms with our line of work.” (y/n) could tell how confused her parents were. “what he means is, we understand that our work is different so we understand if one of us is out then later then expected.” (y/n) explained. “so what your saying is you would leave my daughter here defenseless?” (f/n) asked. (y/n)'s face grew angry. Undertaker had no idea how to answer. He shot a glare at (y/n). “no. I can take care of myself.” she snapped at the comment. The rest of the dinner went on only a few glaces were exchanged.

After dinner~

Later (y/n) helped her mother and father pack up and get ready to leave, while Undertaker cleaned up. He was almost finished cleaning so he decided to go check up on (y/n). he had made his way to the room but heard the three talking. His name was brought up so he deiced to listen in. That's so bad right?

“(y/n) please come back home with us. We don’t think your ready for marriage.” Her mother said. “yes dear. Sir William asks about you often. Wouldn’t it be nice to see him?” the husband asked. (y/n) stayed silent. “anyway you wouldn’t want to say here with him. Would you?” “you don’t know him.” she said as the anger grew in her tone. Her mother gasped. “don’t you forget why you came here in the first place.” (m/n) said almost in a discussed tone. “come dear. The carriage will be here soon.” (f/n) said trying to calm her down Undertaker sneaked back into the kitchen and pretended to clean some more.

(y/n) walked to him. “come on. There leaving.” she said leading him outside. He put on his best fake smile. “It was lovely meeting you both.” he said as the carriage pulled up. “yes you too.” (m/n) smiled. “we must come back soon.” (f/n) said. The two got into the carriage and drove away. The two waved as it drove away.

(y/n) sighed with relief “thank god that’s over!” she said loosening up. His smile faded. The two walked back inside.

~Later on that night~

(y/n) warped her arms around him but he seemed detracted. “dear is something wrong?” she asked. “why did you come to London?” he asked. She felt a pit open up in her stomach open up. She had not told him and never wanted to tell him the real reason. The old memories started to play back in her head. “w-well I needed to escape all of them.” she said. Undertaker knew she was lying but thought this could wait. He wrapped his arms around her. “you don’t have to tell me.” he said snuggling her close. The two fell asleep.

~That morning~

He rushed down into the shop. “I'll make something to eat. You stay and work! We have a busy day today!” she said going into the kitchen. He continued to work. Something was off about the shop. As if somebody was watching them. He could hear her muffled screams and started to run up stairs. “(y/n)!” he called out. But too fell down, passing out.

~A few hours later~

He tried to get up but couldn’t feel his legs. He knew what it was. HE reached down and pulled out a tranquilizer dart from his leg. He waited a moment for the blood to rush back into his legs then got up.

He called out for her, but got no response. He made his way to the shared room and a not was left with his name on it;

Dear Undertaker,

I could never really love you. I have to leave. Don't look for me.

So many thoughts raised through his head. Where did she go- no. who took her?
